Receiving Your Diagnosis

What A Diagnosis Looks Like

Based on the results of your ADHD assessment, your nurse will let you know if you meet the diagnostic criteria for ADHD.

If you are diagnosed with ADHD, the nurse will talk through your symptoms and provide you with insights into what type of ADHD you have. There are three main types of ADHD:

Inattentive/Distractable ADHD: This form of ADHD is typically associated with symptoms of forgetfulness, a short attention span, being easily distracted, and lacking attention to detail.

Hyperactive/Impulsive ADHD: Symptoms of this form of ADHD could include feeling restless, excessive fidgeting, difficulty sitting still, and being impulsive.

Combined ADHD: Someone with this form of ADHD will typically display characteristics and symptoms of both hyperactive and inattentive ADHD.

It is important to note that ADHD presents and will look different from person to person.

ADHD Treatment

Getting Your Treatment Plan

After discovering if you have ADHD or not, the nurse practitioner will go over the recommended treatment plan with you.

During this, you will be able to ask questions about the treatment suggestions and what each of the options might look like for you.

No matter what your diagnosis is, our goal is to provide you with a treatment plan that provides you with the information necessary in order to make the steps in your health journey.

ADHD Treatment Options

When it comes to treating symptoms of ADHD, there is no one-size-fits-all approach. The treatment plan you receive after completing our assessment will outline options for you based on your symptoms, medical history, and more.

Treatment options could include everything from lifestyle changes to therapy, other assessment recommendations, and more.

With the help of our caring nurse practitioners, you can develop an actionable plan and path forward to manage your symptoms and thrive.

Follow-Up Appointments

Through our ongoing care services, you can work with our nurse practitioners to explore what works for you and what doesn’t. Our nurses can then make changes to your treatment plan based on your progress and how you’re feeling.

With our ongoing care through follow-up appointments, you can get the help you need when you need it. No long waiting periods, no hassle, no headache.
